Vehicle Description 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 You are viewing a very nice low mile (49,000) unrestored survivor.
Original owner bought new at Sutherland Motors in Spokane, WA.
In the family sense new.
Always garaged.
Runs and drives excellent.

The car did have a repaint in original color in 2011.
Minor rust repair done at the time of repaint.
Base/clear and wet sanded.
Shows very nice with only 2K miles or so put on the car since then.
The vinyl top is original and in great condition with no bubbles.
Interior:
The interior is primarily original with a few things addressed that showed wear.
Both front seats have been recovered as well as the arm rest.
Rear seat is original with cracks on the top near the package shelf.
The interior is very presentable.
Options are PB and PS only.
Running Gear:
The engine, trans and rear end are original to the car.
The engine was rebuilt at the same time when the body work and paint was done 2011, approx 2K miles ago.
All stock as original.
The trans was not rebuilt and operates like it should.
The engine compartment was restored when the engine was out of the car.
Original carb and components.
Suspension:
All original with shocks replaced in the past.
Brakes:
Power disc/drum.
Gone through in the past with 10K miles since redone.
Exhaust:
replaced in the past in good operational condition.
Bright work:
All in original condition and very presentable as original.
A few dings here and there, but shows very well.
Glass:
Original to the car.
Wheels/Tires:
The wheels are reproduction styled steel wheels as original.
Tires are brand new, purchased in April, with under 30 miles reproduction as what came on the car new.
