Vehicle Description 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe You are viewing a very significant historical build from the 60's built by legendary builder Barry Lobeck out of Ohio.
The car was built in 1968 as a show car using an original Henry steel body.
Featured in Hot Rod Magazine in the May 1979 issue with a few changes made since the feature article.
The car is in incredible condition and shows very well.
Owned 8 years.

Body/Paint:
Original unmolested Henry steel body unchopped with hand laid fiberglass fenders.
Super nice body showing original detail.
Running boards are steel.
20 louver hood.
Original rumble seat car with inside popper to open the finished trunk.
Handle was left as original with the deck lid opening as a trunk car with lots of room with battery mount.
Black single stage enamel.
The black paint, body and fenders show very well with the car being cared for and stored carefully over the years.
Red pinstripe.
Functional cowl vent and front window pull out.
Rear window is functional, but is not in use due to the 3rd trail light.
Original marker lights are turn signal blinkers.
Interior:
The original red velvet interior was replaced two years ago, like brand new.
with a traditional white interior with black piping.
Very high quality workmanship with detail and period correct done by C&B in Spokane, WA.
A door panel was saved from the original red velvet interior.
All original Stewart Warner gauges from the 60s build work as they should, no tach.
Column shift tilt, no radio, Chromed window bezels from the original build that show super nice.
Interior elect fan switch and under dash lights.
Running Gear:
289, C4 automatic and 8 inch rear end out of a 65 Mustang.
The engine runs excellent with Edelbrock air cleaner and carb.
The starter, alternator, fuel pump and water pump have been replaced.
Chrome pulleys, Cobra value covers and dress up items with stock exhaust manifolds.
The transmission was rebuilt in 2012 with very few miles driven since done.
Open rear end with 3:
08 hi way gears.
Makes for a great cruiser with decent gas hi way gas mileage.
Original gas tank placement painted.
Suspension:
Dropped Pete and Jakes straight axle with 4 link with Mustang steering box changed after the original built for a better ride and traditional Street Rod stance.
Rear is leaf springs.
The underside is super clean and very professionally done and functional.
Bright work:
In very good to excellent condition throughout.
Glass:
New windshield with great glass all the way around.
Exhaust:
Dueled with traditional glass packs.
Brakes:
Traditional 39 front drums and 65 mustang rear drums.
Brakes excellent with working E brake.
Wheels/Tires:
Original 5 inch Halibrand kidney bean polished aluminum wheels all the way around.
Front tires are 165 SR 15 radial with 235/75 15 rear radials in like new condition.
Summary:
The car is a very cool old school original build.
If you are seeking a traditional build with fenders that has some history this car is worthy of your consideration.
Super cool and drives like a dream.
