Vehicle Description 1969 COPO Camaro You are viewing a very rare and well documented COPO 4 speed purchased at Clippenger Chevrolet in Covina, CA.
Documented list of owners since new.
Owned since 2004 and maintained with recent fresh up and engine rebuild.
The car has a COPO vehicle verification issued by the COPO connection.
The car was featured in Popular Hot Rodding decades ago with the article written by Jeff Tan after the car went through a complete restoration with much attention to detail.
Judged at the Super Chevy Moroso Motorsports Park and was awarded best restored Camaro honors.
47K original miles with much originality to the car particularly in the interior.
The one and only known LA built COPO.
All other COPOs were built in Norwood.
Once owned by Kenny Rogers Manager.

All original GM steel.
The body is very good condition.
Repainted in original color Burnished brown (rarest of the COPO colors) using Dizler acrylic Lacquer as from factory.
Interior:
Very original with carpet replacement.
Most the interior is original in excellent condition.
Console delete, heater delete and radio delete.
Options:
Per GM on 9561 L72 427 cars.
Smog air equipped as the only COPO built in the Van Nuys facility.
Running Gear:
All original restored, engine 512 block L72, (T0312MN) 4 speed transmission and rear end.
The car was built in Van Nuys so is equipped with smog emissions with original pump and exhaust manifolds.

All in very nice condition.
