Vehicle Description 1979 Lincoln Continental Collector Series Sedan You are viewing a super nice low mile (2,847 miles) unrestored survivor with a repaint.
The Collector Series was limited production with few units produced as compared to overall production in 79.
Runs and drives excellent.
The car has been kept carefully stored and maintained throughout its lifetime.
Everything works on the car as it should.
A beautiful example of the large luxury cars of the era in the best color combo.
1,500 miles driven on the car in the last two years.
The car was purchased with 1,021 miles two years ago.
The car comes with its original trunk kit folder with all the original contents as well as the owner's manual.
The car has just had a complete professional detail.

The car did have a repaint in original color using base/clear.
Not sure when it was done, but feel it was within the last 5 years.
Shows very nice with only 2K miles or so put on the car since then.
The vinyl top is in great condition with no bubbles.
The body is in really nice condition as it should considering the miles.
Interior:
The interior is near perfect in every way.
All options available.
Looks like new throughout.
Everything works and highly optioned.
8 track and AC works well as they should.
All options functioning properly.
Running Gear:
All the drive train works as it should.
Runs and drives excellent.
Suspension:
All original with shocks replaced.
Brakes:
Power disc/drum in good working condition.
Exhaust:
Good operational condition.
Bright work:
All in original condition and very presentable as original.
Shows some slight signs of aging in a few area, but overall very nice.
Glass:

Wheels/Tires:
Tires are new with only 1,500 miles on them.

Hub caps are beautiful.
The spare is original to the car and has the jack and tools.
What has been done to the car in the last 1,500 miles and 2 years:
New Tires, new shocks, transmission serviced with bands adjusted and filter screen cleaning with new gasket, fluid changes, new battery, carb rebuild and EGT value replaced.

Rare to find a like new 79 Lincoln in such a beautiful blue/blue color combo.
