Kentucky is known for what is called "Child-Dumping". What should have been a foster/adopt case was rather mislead by the courts and the cabinet, and documents were noted as 'Permanent-Custody'. After 8 years, my 3 boys and I are refused assistance to adopt. We are told we need an attorney in Kentucky and another in our residing state, just to get this case going. We were told prior to court, parents had lost custody of children, but now, we're told, that's not the case! I'm sure the courts and the court attorney has recognized this error and have now refused any correspondence with us. And no, we have never received any foster or adoption assistance payments, because of this error. How can we finalize this?
