Administrative Officer

Major duties include but not limited to:
Act as a facility resource on providing technical assistance and guidance to staff on performance improvement projects, data aggregation, analysis and interpretation, ensures data capture is performed correctly, and reporting documents. Develop disciplinary actions, prepares evidence files and drafts letters with input from HR. Serve as resource to other staff with questions regarding quality office operations including peer review, risk management, External Peer Review Process (EPRP), clinical and administrative performance measures, data management, system redesign, and accreditation and infection control. Provide administrative oversight of data entry into the Joint Commission Periodic Performance Review data base received from sources throughout the facility and enters data into the Joint Commission extranet. Maintain and protects highly sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner. Oversee training activities of Quality, Safety and Value staff and is responsible for tracking, follow up and reporting to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met and coordinates in-services and other training as needed. Develop budget estimates and justifications, making sure that funds are used in accordance with the operating budget. Provide technical assistance in developing share point and other web sites to other departments upon request to further the communication of data and quality initiatives within the medical center. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
directs and coordinates administrative, operational, logistical, financial/budget, reports management, data processing and planning activities with broad requirement and independent functioning; broad-based knowledge of the overall medical center organization, goals, objectives, function, mission, vision and values. OR, Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR, Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience beyond some specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level but less than one year, and I have more than one year, but less than two years of graduate education. I have computed the percentage of these requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% for the GS-09 grade level. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
