Our Operations team is seeking a Financial Specialist (Loan Servicing Specialist) for our Centralized Servicing team. Reporting to the VP-Central Servicing, this full-time role will be based in our Spokane, WA headquarters.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Performs loan servicing activities such as construction loan administration, escrow account servicing, and mortgage modifications; assures compliance with applicable regulations and policies
Monitors customer payment of insurance and taxes for several portfolios
Follows up on past due accounts to ensure appropriate loan classification
Works directly with customers, employees, and 3rd party vendors to identify appropriate next steps
Provides phone and email support for multiple customer specific websites and programs
Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent education and at least two years' experience in lending, banking, or related customer support roles. Excellent phone and written communication skills and confidence in learning multiple software systems are essential. Previous real estate title and/or insurance experience is helpful. Registration with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) will be required within 60 days of assuming this role, and company sponsored training is available.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
