Develops implements and continually monitors processes for financial planning analysis and control. Development, analysis and reporting of Long Range financial plans, mid-range annual budgets and periodic forecast updates. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs research and studies across multiple areas to support the business e.g. rates of return, working capital and cash flow requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, cost management performance, Foreign exchange impacts.
Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with Operations and the Businesses to define and execute financial plans.
Coordinate at corporate level, the development of the company's annual budget and quarterly forecasts .Monitor existing and develop enhanced processes to increase efficiency and accuracy of budgeting and forecasting
Build of annual Long Range Plan (integrated P&L, Bal Sheet and Cash Flow).
Maintain financial models to support management reporting and executive scenario planning.
Standardize analysis and reporting across divisions.
Create, maintain and automate reporting databases.
Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial analysis & presentation packages.
Assist in analysis of quarterly earnings release and investor communications.
Implement standard performance reporting for measurement against established objectives and trends.
Develop tools to improve financial acumen in the field.
Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions and opportunities.
Identify and reduce risk.
Advise and train less experienced financial analysts. Review work as necessary.
Plan, formulate and conduct financial studies to define performance plans for short and long range corporate profit goals.
Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Management Reporting and Financial Analysis. Strong experience using Microsoft excel.
Preferred
Experience: 8
years of related experience. Prefer experience using Essbase or similar cube based reporting platform. Prefer experience modelling and/or analyzing P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow interactions.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Travel: 0%-10%
Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
