The Electrical Engineer develops, plans, organizes, and manages capital, reliability, and process improvement projects for areas throughout the plant; provides maintenance and production support, as needed.
The Electrical Engineer's essential functions include:
o Develop project scope, feasibility, cost estimates, and schedule.
o Prepare authorizations.
o Develop specifications.
o Charter, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams to develop process and production improvements.
o Manage project resources, budgets, and schedules.
o Administer engineering and design contracts.
o Coordinate and manage installations and outages.
o Verify control system design and total integration with plant systems.
o Perform equipment start-ups.
o Prepare and organize project documentation (Manuals, PM's spare parts, correspondence, drawings, drawing lists, material listings, etc.); update documentation.
o Coordinate operator and maintenance training.
o Track and report final project performance, schedule, and cost compliance.
o Assist in trouble-shooting equipment control and electrical systems.
o Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
o Coordinate and support electrical safety initiatives.
o Provide technical support during equipment outages.
o Coordinate with vendors.
o Evaluate reliability improvement options.
Requirements
EDUCATION An undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
EXPERIENCE
o 5-10 years previous electrical engineering experience in a leadership role
o Experience with AutoCAD, project scheduling, and specification writing.
o Knowledge of digital and analog drives, PLC and distributed control systems, National Electrical Code, AC & DC motors to 4,000 HP, power/control theory and application, and instrumentation.
o Previous experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment.
o Excellent analytical skills.
o Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, Excel, and Access.
o Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
o Proven ability to work in teams.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
o Approximately 70% of the job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. 30% of the job function is required in the plant. There is exposure to operating machinery and a manufacturing environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
