Crew Chief

Company Name:
Student Edge
Experience is an asset in order to qualify for this position (possible promotion opportunities may be available in the summer). The main difference between a painter and a crew chief is that the crew chief has extended responsibilities that include supervising the production of the jobsite in relation to safety, pace, and quality of the work being performed, client relations, tracking equipment/paint inventory, etc. For this, crew chiefs earn a higher average piece rate, resulting in a higher hourly wage. The average piece rate is between $11-$15 per hour depending on the pay rate in your area and your level of experience. Wages average between minimum wage and $25.00 per hour (crew chiefs can increase their hourly earnings by producing work efficiently and properly).
