The Quality Specialist will conduct quality reviews for the operational processing functions in the various Business Units, Business Centers and Field Operations. Provide positive and constructive feedback to support performance improvement and operational consistency. Conduct reviews to reinforce quality standards are being followed within the new business, renewal, endorsement, telephone transaction and various other processes.
Responsible for completing quality reviews of work processed by employees
Clearly and effectively communicate quality assurance findings to managers and employees
Participate in quality review, calibration, and appeal meetings
Maintain a solid understanding of current products, forms, coverage and billing procedures
Identify trends and areas for improvement and provide input to quality area and managers to develop training or action plans to address issue(s)
Utilize system applications necessary to perform, monitor, track, and document control gaps identified within Small Commercial job functions
Provide input for the development of review tools to be used in the quality review process
Train others individually or in small group settings, prepare monthly QA reports (individual and management) with related MI for error analysis and assessment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Provide feedback in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems within the business context
Able to handle multiple priorities effectively, manage time well
Demonstrated insurance and systems knowledge across functional areas
Strong understanding of Small Commercial products, systems, processes, and underwriting guidelines
Advanced knowledge of functional business processes
Excellent customer service skills and works well in a team environment
Demonstrates a good understanding of Excel, Power Point, and Word software
College Degree or equivalent experience relevant to the business
Minimum two plus years experience in Small Commercial Operations

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
