The Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the department s office by performing a full range of secretarial duties and providing administrative support to the Director(s) in organizing and executing daily responsibilities. This position makes effective recommendations requiring the use of independent judgment, takes lead role in positively influencing others, identifying problems and facilitating solutions and is expected to demonstrate thorough and advanced knowledge and expertise in work areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalent; AA degree or some college in business, or a combination of education and experience to include college courses in English or Communications.
Two years experience as Administrative Assistant at upper organizational level setting.
Experience in health care and/or medical terminology.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret documents such as policies and procedures, payroll, personnel forms and related reports.
Ability to train others; to demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills; to communicate well verbally and in written form, to be analytical and to lead projects.
Coordinate on-going training of staff on new and existing system applications.
Skill in all office equipment, in word processing (formatting, creating and editing of text and spreadsheets (Word, Excel, or similar software programs).
Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service even under adverse conditions; to work independently and make sound decisions; to manage multiple priorities and prioritize; to maintain confidentiality; to maintain close communication with Education Coordinator and/or Manager.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
