Two Barrels is looking for a Chief Legal Officer to join our executive team. This position is based inthe Spokane Area in Washington State, and relocation assistance is available.This is a new position, so we want someone with experience on the ground. Up to $300,000/year
Relocation Package. We are privately owned which means there's no equity or formal bonus structure. We're laying it all out there from the start.
Responsibilities:
Help drive the company forward by bringing a legal perspective to the executive team Work with management and stakeholders to help unblock legal hurdles Provide oversight and take responsibility for all regulatory matters and contracts, along with all trademark, employment law, corporate governance and policies related to the organization (we provide registered agent service, corporate filings, and SAAS, operating physical locations in every state) Lead and inspire an existing team of legal professionals to perform at a high level Balance legal risk and business savvy in the decision-making process to move the company forward in a way that promotes both commonsense and growth Manage and oversee all legal aspects of the company's business acquisitions Minimum
Qualifications:
Law degree with 15
years of progressive legal experience Experience managing teams of lawyers and legal professionals Ability to effect change and accomplish goals through a collaborative leadership approach Proven experience launching products and providing legal and regulatory advice on products at all stages of development in the tech space Work in-office 2-3 days/week Preferred
