We are in search of a Business Analyst I or Business Analyst II to join our Business Analysis department in Spokane, Washington.
This full-time position reports to the Director-Business Analysis and is primarily accountable for gathering business requirements, evaluating processes, recommending solution options, and implementing processes and technologies that enable the organization to meet its strategic objectives.
The Business Analyst also operates in a project management capacity to ensure successful completion of assigned small to medium projects.
Compensation Information Business Analyst I:
$51,404 - $79,676; bonus at target is 8% of salary Business Analyst II:
$59,629 - $92,425; bonus at target is 10% of salary Job Requirements Works with business teams to develop, clearly articulate, and document business requirements that align with intended business outcomes.
Receives guidance on new projects and assignments.
Participates in business process improvement, solution design, building, and testing sessions to ensure options are fully explored and results meet expectations.
Assists in researching and drafting business case recommendations (supported by cost/benefit analysis) for achieving business outcomes.
Assists in implementing business process and/or technical solutions that improve organizational efficiencies and customer experience across all business areas.
Performs post-implementation analysis to measure adoption of new processes and technologies to identify potential gaps; coordinates follow up actions with appropriate teams.
Participates in journey mapping sessions to identify personas and journeys; creates professional artifacts including opportunities for management review and action.
May spend approximately 20% of time in a project management capacity to coordinate work for specific project areas or small projects.
Ensures work is completed in accordance with AgWest's project management and business analysis methodologies and meets all product development IT general control requirements.
Maintains up-to-date information in project portfolio systems; generates and distributes timely reports.
Assists in facilitating the Employee Innovation Requests process by obtaining additional information on requests to help determine next steps.
Supports monthly calls to staff detailing changes by drafting materials and assisting with facilitation as needed.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of AgWest business practices, products and key systems.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, information systems, computer science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Generally requires at least one year of business analysis or related experience, ideally in financial institution operations Understanding of business case preparation and business requirement elicitation techniques.
Ability to learn and develop business analysis skills, incorporating guidance provided on new tasks and assignments Understanding of basic business analysis and project management concepts Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and control assigned activities Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Benefits Offered by AgWest Medical, dental, and vision insurance Basic term life and AD&D insurance (fully paid for by the company) Paid days off annually:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
